Daffodils

There is a pair of socks in the garden, today.
Planted all these daffodils, last fall.

This week contained the Ides of March, Shakespeare, St. Patricks' Day, Irish and Equinox, the first day of spring in the northern hemisphere.
The dafodils are lovely, going out to take a picture, now.

Knitting Retreat

Today, I returned from a knitting weekend. It was great, to learn, relax, and visit. The guest expert, Ann Budd is very knowledgeable. I meet Ann in Portland, Oregon at Sock Summit, last August.
I have attended camp for several years, enjoying each one. All the meals are prepared, we would just walk to the dining hall at the assigned times. Also, at the camp, a women's singing group was on a retreat. We were treated to a song at meal time, it was just delightful. Some of singers admired knitted garments, too.

Beach2008

Bayview State Park, Nicole, Meggen, me and Gary exploring the beach.

I just returned from the evening walk with Meggen, the frogs are singing loudly, the stars are out and Meggen chased a deer. What a great walk.
