We arrived at the stadium at 3:30, hauled the stuff in, and set-up. It was hot setting up, but had a break before the shoppers arrived.

Donate
I "got" the opportunity to donate to my county, today. Yes, I received a speeding ticket on a county road, that was "chipsealed", on Tuesday. Chipseal is a layer of oil covered with gravel. Yes, the posted speed was 25 mph, I was going 41. oops. He did write my ticket for only 5 miles over or I could be making a larger donation to my county. The funny thing is, Gary rolls through stop signs and I keep saying I am going to laugh, when you get a ticket for blowing the stop sign. I will write the check and mail it. done deal. Post # 350.

Ramble On and On
I am in the second week of a cruddy cold. I have medications, antibiotics and vicodin for cough suppressant. do I feel a lot better? not really, bummer for me.
During my time at home, I have read some interesting things, like Baba-Yaga, a Russian fairy tale. I have been reading Elizabeth Zimmerman's Knitting Almanac. Which is thought provoking and humorous.
My mother's birthday was yesterday. I was wondering, if she ever read EZ. My mother did some beautiful handwork, crocheted lace, knitting, embroidery and sewing. I am lucky to have a few of her hand stitched items.
Have I done much knitting, this past week? not really. Really, I am not whining, but am tired of this cruddy cold. I guess my body has been overstressed and is on a time out for physical healing.
