Winds

We have some windy March days and lost power, last evening for about 6 hours.  Just a minor inconvenience, in the big picture.

Almost December

November has had some beautiful dry days, I have walked the neighborhood loop a few times.  Meggen has a sore leg, so only goes on short walks.  Patch is too old for a loop walk, so short walks for her, too.
On the knitting front, the mystery knit along was started.  I was not loving it, so it got frogged.  The yarn has found a new project, a shawl called Happy Street.  I am about 75% complete.
I have been working a little at WildFibers, it is kind of fun.  Tomorrow, the first Sunday of the month means sock Sunday at WildFibers.  I think I will string a few days in a row at the shop.

We are back to the rainy season, after several crisp, clear October days.

Summer Rain

It is raining, a nice summer rain. We have new gravel in the driveway, so I am hoping for enough rain to settle the dust. The plants, trees, grass would be happy with a good soaking, too.

Summer Weather

We are having a mild summer. Yesterday and Today were more summer like days. Upper 70's.

Rainy Sunday

I have a new e-reader, a Kindle. So, far, it is in charging.
A couple nice days, here and there, but still a wet, cloudy spring. I have not done any weeding, so getting farther behind. Just hard to get motivated in the wet and cold. The weed will just get bigger.

Weather Update

A little snow was falling, this morning. It is mostly gone, now. The weather forecast for the week does include some snow and rain.
So far, this year, I have a post about every other day. Do you think that will continue for the year?

Weather

I worked only Tuesday, last week, due to snow. It is snowing, now, wet snow. Meggen and went for a walk in the snow, this morning. I walked, she romped and caught snowballs. Yesterday, it was dry fluffy snow and cold. My office is closed Monday and Tuesday, because the doctors are out of town. So, I have been knitting and hanging. I did go get a massage on Friday and went to teach a sock class on Saturday. Looks like a knitting day, today.

Snow Day

I have a snow day from work. Our lawn is barely covered, but there is more snow is town. Patients have been cancelling all over the schedule. So, yippee, a bonus, day off, sounds like a day of knitting to me.

We did have a couple days break in the rain. It is back to rain, again. We are soggy.

Snow on Sunday

We have woke up to a white lawn. It is wet snow, continuing to fall. Meggen and I went for a snowy walk.
We watched the Seattle football game, yesterday. Seattle, the underdogs upset last years Superbowl winners. It was very exciting game.

First Work Week

I have finished my work week of 2011.
Mount Vernon got hit with a hail storm a week ago, then the temperatures stayed cold. Parking lots were a icy mess in town. The rain started last night, and the ice is gradually going away. Gary went for a massage in town, this morning. He said the ice was gone.
I have some knitting on my agenda for the weekend. Sounds like a good weekend to me.

December

I was very busy posting in November. I have slowed way down, here in December. It is dark, and boy, has it been rainy, the last couple days. We have ponds in the backyard. There are mini waterfalls over the rocks walls.
