Summer Vacation

I have had some time away from the office. It is great to have some extra time to relax, knit, read and work on the chore list, too.
Current reading: Stieg Larsson trilogy, book one, "The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo", book two "The Girl who Played with Fire" and book three "The Girl who Kicked the Hornet's Nest." I am over half way in the second book. It is hard to put it down.

New Socks

Finished a pair of socks, today.

I have some time off work. I have been relaxing, resting and working on a few projects a home.

Certainly, enjoying the time away from the work place.

Warm Weather

After cool weather on the 4th of July, the sun has burst through the clouds with warmth for the week.

July 4, 2010

It is a cool, gray 4th of July, here. I did ride in the fire engine in the parade and throw some candy. I didn't take any pictures.
We did watch part of a baseball game on TV.
Later, we will BBQ some hamburger.
Meggen has spent a lot of time, hiding (from the noise of fireworks) in the closet.
