I am thankful for a dry day, which Meggen and I walked the 2 mile loop. Other neighbors were out on foot, bikes and cars. So, it was a social walk as well.
We did see a couple eagles soaring with nest building materials. New snow in the foothills in the distance, a bit of chill on my face from the wind of the beach side of the loop.
Reminded me, how much I enjoy walking for lots of reason, besides the exercise benefit.

Knit Fit
I attended Knit Fit in Ballard, over the weekend. It was a nice event, a small vendors market. Must say some yarn followed me, home, plus a yarn bowl and a project bag.
I took 2 classes, both new techniques. I should look for my technique goal for the year and see how I am doing. In October, I took a class on Knit companion on my new I-pad, that was intense. I have set up a project on my I-pad and started knitting. The classes at Knit Fit are knitting with silk hankies (Mawata) and the steek class. I stayed over in Seattle and enjoyed some quiet time, too.
